Lockdown On TikTok

Lockdown on TikTok explores my journey during lockdown, when I started to discover my sexuality. It focuses on comforting trends, music and queer content from the app whilst also looking at queer history. This collection encapsulates my odyssey and celebrates queer history with a joyful outcome.   It includes prints made from motifs inspired by trends from TikTok that comforted me during this time, such as the whipped coffee trend and mini pancake trend. It also includes prints inspired by popular songs on TikTok that comforted and inspire me, including Drivers Licence by Olivia Rodrigo, Say So by Doja Cat and Dynamite by BTS. It also includes prints inspired by queer motifs from TikTok and Queer motifs from the past. The prints use hand drawn/painted motifs and textures as well as primary and secondary imagery which have been digitally composed and coloured to create bold fashion prints.
